Can your existing RSI account still add a referral code?

Account age and a previously linked code decide the answer. Having downloaded the launcher or played a trial does not by itself close the window.

Follow the account decision path

  1. No account: create one and enter a player code in the registration form.
  2. Account under 24 hours old with no code: sign in, open your account icon and use the referral entry box at the bottom of the summary panel. Enter STAR-JTV7-FXLR before the window closes.
  3. A code is already linked: keep it. RSI does not permit switching or stacking codes.
  4. Account older than 24 hours: there is no direct addition. A new pledge or a reinstall cannot change the account's creation time.

The prefilled registration link starts a new account signup. It cannot repair an existing account's referral setting. Buying a Game Package is not required within the code entry deadline.

Account balance and game balance are different

The standard signup benefit is 50,000 UEC recorded under RSI's rules. During alpha you spend temporary aUEC. Eligible account UEC can contribute to the starting alpha balance, while package-included UEC is treated separately. When a code is added late, RSI warns that aUEC crediting can be delayed.

Check the balance in mobiGlas and current patch information. Logging in again does not award a new signup bonus, and a patch reset does not guarantee an identical balance. Credits earned in alpha are not a guaranteed balance for the released game.

What can an older account do?

For accounts without completed pledges or accepted gifts, RSI explains a support-assisted closure and recreation route. Ask support whether it applies before acting. It is a replacement account, not a late reward added to your original one. A purchased account cannot be promised preserved access through this process.

If your purchased account is outside the window, keep your game access and earn aUEC through play. The onboarding checklist and starter finder remain useful without a new code.
