Star Citizen referral code for 50,000 UEC at signup
Paste it on the RSI signup form. New accounts only. Same package price either way.
Coupon, promo, discount, referral. On RSI it is one thing.
If Google sent you here, you typed one of four phrasings: coupon code, promo code, discount code, or referral code. On Roberts Space Industries they all mean the same single field. The signup page has a Referral Rewards panel with one input labelled Referral Code (optional). Paste a working code there, get 50,000 UEC.
The bonus is official and it is in-game currency added on top of the normal price, not a discount. RSI has never issued public percent-off codes for Game Packages, so the "70% off Star Citizen" listings on SimplyCodes, WorthEPenny and the rest are auto-generated to catch search traffic. The only signup-time bonus that exists is this one, and the working code for it is STAR-JTV7-FXLR.
The short answer. Paste STAR-JTV7-FXLR in the Referral Code (optional) field at RSI signup. Your new account gets 50,000 UEC once it buys a Game Package of $40 USD or more. You pay the same price either way.
Live field check, and where the code goes
Most code sites just ask you to trust them. I opened the real RSI enlist link in a clean browser on 19 September 2026 and confirmed that STAR-JTV7-FXLR was pre-filled in the Referral Code field. RSI's current layout does not show the older green success message or referrer name before signup.
- Open the RSI signup page
Use the orange button up top and the code is pre-filled into the URL. Or open
robertsspaceindustries.com/enlistand paste it into the Referral Code (optional) field yourself. - Fill in your details, then confirm the field contains STAR-JTV7-FXLR
Account name, email, password, date of birth. Check the Referral Code field still reads STAR-JTV7-FXLR, tick Terms, then click Enlist Now.
- Buy a Game Package of $40 USD or more
The 50,000 UEC credits once the purchase clears. Cheapest qualifying option is the Citizen Starter Pack at $45 (the RSI Aurora Mk II plus 10,000 UEC). Full walkthrough, including the recovery path if you missed the field.
What 50,000 UEC actually pays for
"50,000 of something" sounds vague, so here is the math. At current in-game prices it kits out a brand new character with a little left over, instead of leaving you in a flight suit holding nothing.
| Item | Typical in-game cost | Covered? |
|---|---|---|
| Medium armour set (helmet, core, arms, legs, undersuit) | ~16,000 to 22,000 UEC | Yes |
| Primary weapon plus spare magazines | ~7,000 to 12,000 UEC | Yes |
| Sidearm, multi-tool, medical pens | ~3,500 to 5,500 UEC | Yes |
| Food and drink for several mission cycles | ~1,000 to 2,500 UEC | Yes |
| A ship-component upgrade (cooler, shield, weapon) | ~8,000 to 15,000 UEC | Often, with what is left |
| Net result: your new character lands in Stanton fully kitted. The full UEC breakdown is here. | ||

Two rules new players miss
The 24 hour rule
You can add a code at signup or within a 24 hour grace period after creating the account. Forgot it at signup? Sign in at robertsspaceindustries.com, open the account menu, find Referral Rewards, paste STAR-JTV7-FXLR and confirm. After 24 hours the option is gone, and once an account is linked to a referrer the code cannot be changed.
The $40 minimum
The 50,000 UEC is tied to a Game Package purchase of at least $40 USD, spent in the pledge store, not counting store credit or gift cards. Every standard Starter Pack clears this comfortably (the cheapest is around $45). The only risk is a stripped-down promo bundle that drops under the line.
Why one verified code, not a randomizer
Any qualifying referral code gives you the same 50,000 UEC, because RSI pays the bonus, not the code holder. What changes between codes is whether someone actually maintains the link and the information around it. Randomizer sites pull from a rotating pool, and some still advertise the old "5,000 UEC" figure from before the 2 July 2025 overhaul. A pre-filled value alone is not proof that a stranger maintains their code. More on randomizer tradeoffs.
Verification log
Every entry is a real check. If you want a freshness signal, this is it.
- The live RSI enlist link was checked in a clean browser and pre-filled STAR-JTV7-FXLR in the Referral Code (optional) field. The current form showed no separate success message or referrer name before signup. Game build at the time: Alpha 4.10.1 (live since 16 September 2026).
- RSI overhauled the referral program. New-player bonus went from 5,000 UEC up to 50,000 UEC and the recruiter ladder was restructured (top tier is now the Idris-M at 1,042 recruits). Any guide still quoting 5k UEC is stale.
Frequently asked questions
Is there really no Star Citizen coupon code?
Not in the discount sense. RSI has never run public percent-off coupons on Game Packages. The thing people search for as a coupon code is the Referral Code. Paste STAR-JTV7-FXLR in the Referral Code (optional) field on the RSI signup form and the new account gets 50,000 UEC of in-game currency once it buys a Game Package of $40 USD or more.
How do I get a referral code for Star Citizen?
You do not need to generate one. Any new account can use an existing player's code at signup. Use STAR-JTV7-FXLR, which is verified and maintained on this page, or open the auto-apply link and it fills the field for you. You only get your own code to share once you own an account.
What is the best referral code for Star Citizen?
Every qualifying code grants the same 50,000 UEC, because RSI pays the bonus, not the code owner. STAR-JTV7-FXLR and its auto-fill link were checked on the live enlist page on 19 September 2026, which is a clearer freshness signal than an unmaintained random pool.
How do I get my own Star Citizen referral code to share?
Once you own an account, your unique code appears in your RSI account dashboard, in the referral area. When someone new signs up with it and spends $40 USD or more on a Game Package, you both benefit: they get 50,000 UEC, and you earn a Recruitment Point toward ship rewards. How the rewards ladder works.
How do I get a valid Star Citizen referral code?
Use a code from a source that keeps its referral information current. STAR-JTV7-FXLR and its auto-fill link were checked on the live RSI form on 19 September 2026. The current form pre-fills the value but does not show a separate success message before signup. Why random pooled codes are harder to verify.
What does a referral code actually do?
It links your new account to a referrer and grants your account 50,000 UEC of in-game currency after you buy a Game Package of $40 USD+. It costs you nothing extra. On the referrer's side it earns one Recruitment Point toward ship rewards.
Does STAR-JTV7-FXLR still work in 2026?
The link was re-checked by hand on 19 September 2026 on the live RSI enlist page and correctly pre-filled STAR-JTV7-FXLR in the Referral Code field. RSI's current layout does not show a separate success message or referrer name before signup.
I already made my account without the code. Am I locked out?
Not yet, if it has been under 24 hours since signup. Sign in at robertsspaceindustries.com, open the account menu, find Referral Rewards, paste STAR-JTV7-FXLR and confirm. After 24 hours the option disappears and the code cannot be changed once an account is linked.
Does it work during a Free Fly event?
Yes. Free Fly accounts accept a Referral Code at signup. Paste STAR-JTV7-FXLR when you create the account. The 50,000 UEC credits when you later buy a $40+ Game Package, but the link is permanent, so the bonus still triggers when you upgrade. More about Free Fly.
Does the referral code give a free ship?
No. The new-account bonus is 50,000 UEC of in-game currency, not a ship. Free ships are on the referrer's side of the program, unlocked after recruiting other players. The full breakdown is here.
Why are you giving this code out?
When you use STAR-JTV7-FXLR I earn one Recruitment Point on RSI's referrer ladder. That is the entire incentive. You get the full 50,000 UEC either way and pay the same package price. Any valid code does the same on your end. The difference is whether the owner keeps it verified.
Ready to claim the 50,000 UEC?
One click pre-fills STAR-JTV7-FXLR into the RSI signup form. Finish the account, buy a $40 or larger Game Package, the bonus is yours.
